How We Protect Your Data
1 Encryption Everywhere
All data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption - the same standard used by banks and government agencies. Your documents are encrypted the moment you upload them and stay encrypted while stored on our servers. All connections to our site use TLS 1.3 (the padlock in your browser).
2 Australian Data Residency
Your data is stored in Australian data centres, subject to Australian privacy law. We don't transfer your personal information overseas without your explicit consent. Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade Australian cloud services.
3 Minimal Data Collection
We only collect what's necessary to do our job. We don't access account contents or passwords unless absolutely required and explicitly authorised. Our discovery process checks if accounts exist - it doesn't access what's inside them.
4 Strict Access Controls
Access to your case is limited to the team member assigned to it. All access is logged and audited. We use multi-factor authentication and role-based permissions to ensure only authorised personnel can view sensitive data.
5 Secure Document Handling
Death certificates and identity documents are stored encrypted, accessed only when needed for platform requests, and permanently deleted after your case is complete. We never share documents beyond what's required for account closure.

Payment Security
Payments processed by Stripe
We use Stripe, a global leader in payment security. Your card details are never stored on our servers - they go directly to Stripe's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure. This is the highest level of payment security certification available.
Security Questions
What happens to my documents after the case is complete?
All uploaded documents (death certificates, IDs, etc.) are permanently deleted within 30 days of case completion. We retain only basic case records for legal compliance (7 years as required by Australian law), and these contain no sensitive documents.
Do you need the deceased's passwords?
No. Our account discovery and closure process works through official platform channels - we submit requests as an authorised representative, not by logging into accounts. We never ask for or store account passwords.
Who can see my case information?
Only the team member assigned to your case can access your information, and all access is logged. We never share your information with anyone except the platforms we're contacting on your behalf (and only the minimum information required for each request).
How do I know you're legitimate?
We're a registered Australian business (ABN 30 664 897 429) operating under Australian consumer protection and privacy laws. We're bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can verify our ABN on the Australian Business Register.
